Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our growing team in New York. You will perform on-site installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs of battery equipment, ensuring peak performance for critical telecom, data center, and utilities applications.

You will troubleshoot issues, replace parts, and train customers on safe operation, while maintaining accurate service records and supporting company assets including vehicles and tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 1/2 years of field service experience in electrical, telecom, or energy-related fields.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and test equipment; aptitude exam with 70% passing score.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform installation, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers on safe operation of equipment.
