Job summary

Concentric Power Services seeks an Technician, Apprentice to coordinate and perform routine maintenance on industrial batteries, chargers, and battery handling equipment. The role reports to a Service Manager or Lead Technician and involves no direct reports.

Ideal candidates will have a High School or GED, relevant technical training, and the ability to travel to sites with some overnight stays. DOT regulations and safety are emphasized in this position.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Technical school certification in electrical/mechanical repair or battery maintenance preferred.
• Associate degree from a two‑year college or university, preferred or equivalent experience.
• Pass background check and drug screen; DOT requirements may apply.
• Basic AC/DC electrical/electronic theory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform routine planned maintenance services.
• Diagnose and repair products including industrial batteries and chargers.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales to expedite repairs.
• Travel to other branches or sites; some overnight travel required.
• Follow safety, warranty, environmental, OSHA/DOT regulations; maintain assets.
