Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking a Technician, Apprentice to coordinate and perform routine Planned Maintenance Services and diagnose and repair products, including industrial batteries, chargers, and battery handling equipment. Reports to a Service Manager or Lead Technician, with no direct reports.

The role requires strong problem solving, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while traveling to customer sites for installations, maintenance, or repairs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Technical school certification in electrical, mechanical repair or battery maintenance preferred.
• Associate degree from an approved two-year college/university, preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; DOT requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Execute planned maintenance agreements: Battery inspections, watering, washing; record cell voltages and gravities.
• Charger inspections, calibrations, and adjustments.
• Coordinate problem resolution with Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales and others.
• Travel to other branches or sites; some overnight travel may be required.
• Comply with company policies including warranty, safety, OSHA, DOT and Hazmat.
• Follow safety regulations including site-specific customer rules.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Take ownership of all company assets: vehicles, inventory, tools, equipment.
• Complete service orders, PM worksheets, timecards, expense reports and related documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
