Job summary

Concentric is seeking a Field Battery Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment. You will perform basic troubleshooting and field/shop repairs, ensuring timely service to customers.

The role involves travel to branches or sites, adherence to safety rules, and coordination with Technical Support, Customer Service, and Sales. A high school diploma or GED is required; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Working knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical/electronic theory.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize own work and work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds and across remote offices.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly in writing and verbally to customers.
• Experience in material handling environment preferred.
• Intermittent travel within territory; home most nights.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain motive power equipment; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Travel to other branches or sites to assist with installation, removal or repairs (overnight travel as needed).
• Complete service orders, PM worksheets, timecards, expense reports, and documentation.
• Work independently or with a team in a professional manner.
• Coordinate problem resolution with Technical Support, Customer Service, and Sales.
• Adhere to safety regulations and customer site rules.
• Build strong relationships with customers and take ownership of assets.
