Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking a Battery and Charger Field Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment across customer sites and shop locations. You will troubleshoot battery systems, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate repairs with internal teams while ensuring safety and timely service.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Certification from a technical school focused on electrical, mechanical repair or battery maintenance is preferred.
• Associate degree from an approved two-year college or university, preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
• DOT requirements may apply.
• Basic AC/DC electrical/electronic theory knowledge.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize own work and work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and across remote offices.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly (written and verbal) to customers.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with other departments for organizational success.
• Adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Experience in material handling environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Travel daily, some overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate problem resolution with Technical Support, Customer Service, and Sales.
• Travel to other branches or sites for installation, removal, or repairs (overnight travel may be required).
• Work safely and follow all safety regulations, including site-specific rules.
• Complete service orders, PM worksheets, timecards, and documentation accurately and timely.
• Build strong relationships with customers and respond to client needs promptly.
• Troubleshoot battery and charger systems; perform repairs at customer locations and shop.
• Work independently or with a team in a professional manner.
