Job summary

Concentric is seeking an Apprentice Technician in Wisconsin to perform routine Planned Maintenance Services on industrial batteries and related equipment, diagnose and repair, and coordinate with Support and Sales. Travel to sites may be required; overtime may be available.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, technical training preferred, and the ability to pass background checks and DOT-related requirements. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Certification from a technical school focused on electrical, mechanical repair or battery maintenance preferred.
• Associate degree from an approved two-year college or university, preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• May be required to pass additional requirements under the DOT.

Responsibilities

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Execute planned maintenance agreements, including battery inspections, battery watering, battery washing, and recording of cell voltages and specific gravities. Charger inspections, calibrations, and adjustments.
• Coordinate problem resolution with Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Travel to other branches or sites, as required, to assist with product installation, removal or repairs (some overnight travel will be required).
• Comply with company policies and procedures. These include but are not limited to warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT and Hazmat.
• Follow all safety regulations, including site specific safety regulations established by customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Take ownership of all company assets, including but not limited to vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Complete all service orders, PM worksheets, timecards, expense reports, and any documentation as required, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
