Job summary

BorgWarner seeks a Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical and control systems for manufacturing operations. You will draft layouts for robots, controllers, and wiring, and improve plant automation through troubleshooting and programming of data interfaces.

The role collaborates with a matrix of engineering teams and requires hands-on work with Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and vision systems. Travel up to 5% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with Siemens PLC/HMI and robotics is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and control systems essential.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and control systems for industrial automation.
• Draft diagrams of cable connections for robots and controllers.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair controls and systems on site.
• Program plant floor data interfaces and configure vision systems.
