Job summary

FlexGen in Durham, NC seeks an Asset Manager to oversee the post‑commissioning lifecycle of battery energy storage assets under LTSA. You'll coordinate with OEMs, internal teams, and customers to optimize uptime, reliability, and profitability of energy storage systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance data, managing maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and cost control using CMMS and Salesforce. Strong asset management experience and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in asset management, operations, or technical services.
• Strong understanding of BESS technology, energy storage systems, and grid operations.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or other CMMS software.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret system data and drive performance improvements.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the post-commissioning lifecycle of BESS assets and LTSA requirements.
• Collaborate with OEMs, internal teams, and field personnel to resolve issues and maximize uptime.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and field services to minimize downtime.
• Maintain asset management records and KPIs using CMMS and Salesforce.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.
