Job summary

INX International Ink Co. is hiring for a Batch Weigher/Mixer (Coatings) on 2nd shift in Kansas.

The role supports production in the Operations department and involves training to operate a Mill/Mixer, performing TPM-driven maintenance, and keeping accurate process/formula records. The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, have basic math and computer skills, and be willing to work overtime.

• 3 months of work related experience
• Good math and basic computer skills
• Reliable to work assigned shift
• Flexible to work overtime as required
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background
• Able to work with multi-disciplinary teams
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
• Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
• Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition and shift steps
• Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOPs
• Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE standards
• Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
• Canning
• Operating: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
• Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
• Completing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
• Helping with repacks

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

• Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
• Have 3 months of work related experience
• Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,
• Be reliableto work assigned shift
• Be flexible to work overtime as required
• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
• Have good attendanceand punctuality
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

• Forklift experience, but we can train you
• Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
• Previous experience within the Ink Industry
