Job summary

INX International is seeking a Batchweigher/Mixer Operator for the 3rd shift in coatings. The role entails mixing ink batches, sampling for QC, and handling solvents with strict safety practices. Training will be provided to operate mills and TPM activities.

Candidates should have a minimum of three months related experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional points prefer AM background and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Mix batches of ink as directed by the supervisor.
• Provide batch samples to QC and make additions as directed.
• Test and track batch temperature when needed.
• Deliver batches to mill staging areas as directed.
• Dispose of dirty solvent and notify supervisor after completion.
• Label solvent tubs as “Flammable” and keep grounded.
• Maintain mixers, including lubrication, and report defects.
• Change mixer blades when needed.
• Use required PPE and follow safety rules at all times.

We are seeking Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mixer Operator, you will be required to:

• Mix batches of ink as directed by the supervisor.
• Providebatch samples to QC as needed and makeany additions as directed.
• Testand track the temperature of the batch when needed.
• Deliverbatches to mill staging areas as directed.
• Disposeof dirty solvent and notify the supervisor that this has been completed.
• Labelsolvent tubs for cleaning mixers as “Flammable” and keepthem grounded at all times.
• Properly maintainmixers as directed, including lubrication, and notifythesupervisor of any mechanical defects.
• Change the mixer blades when needed.
• Use the required protective equipment (dust mask, gloves, apron, glasses, etc.).
• Follow safety rules at all times.

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have threemonths of related work experience.
• Demonstrate good math skills and basic computer skills.
• Be reliableto work assigned shift.
• Be flexible to work overtime as required.
• Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
• Be able to perform an active role onmulti-disciplinary teams.
• Have good attendanceand punctuality.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift experience, but we can train you if you lack experience.
• Mixing, milland pump filter industry background.
• Previous experience in the ink industry.
