Job summary

INX International is seeking a Mill/Mixer Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. You will learn to operate a Mill Machine and support TPM activities, ensuring safe, efficient production in a color-focused workplace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required or desired.
  • 3 months of related experience.
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills.
  • Be reliable to work assigned shift.
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required.
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
  • Have good attendance and punctuality.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain mill/mixer to TPM standards.
  • Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.
  • Weigh-Up Batches: following process order.
  • Mix Batch: discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; follow SOPs.
  • Hockmeyer mill operation: run and maintain optimum OEE.
  • Create and maintain a database of existing formulas including processing times.
  • Operating press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
  • Act as QC liaison, provide ink samples, make ink adjustments, record data.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Help with repacks.

Job Description

We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As aMill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
  • Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
  • Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition.Shift auto and manual steps
  • Mix Batch: Dischargingpigment and operatingmixer safely; following and adheringto all INX Mixer SOP's
  • Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipmenteffectiveness) standards
  • Creatingand maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
  • Canning
  • Operatingthe following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
  • Acting as a QC liaison, providingink samples, makingink adjustments, and recording data
  • Completingscheduled maintenance,and troubleshooting procedures
  • Helping with repacks
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
  • Have 3 months of work related experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,
  • Be reliableto work assigned shift
  • Be flexible to work overtime as required
  • Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
  • Have good attendanceand punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry
