Job summary

Interstate Concrete & Asphalt Co., a CRH company, is seeking a hands-on batch plant operator in Washington. You will perform general plant maintenance and coordinate concrete batching with a team to ensure high-quality mixtures and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate/basic maintenance work.
• Ability to read and verify ticketed mix designs and adjust as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain batch plant operations to ensure timely delivery of concrete.
• Verify specific concrete on incoming tickets and enter correct mix design into computer.
• Monitor gauges and machinery to ensure specs are met.
• Coordinate batching and loading of all concrete leaving plant; check slump.
• Dispatch trucks based on load size and site conditions.
• Communicate with dispatch, drivers, and customers regularly.
