Interstate Concrete & Asphalt Co., a CRH company, is seeking to hire for a full-time Operations, Field and Plant Mgmt role in Washington. The position focuses on general plant maintenance and coordinating concrete batching with a team, learning mix designs, and ensuring quality products for customers.

Ideal candidates thrive in a customer-centric, team environment, with training provided and opportunities for growth. Wage is $29-$35 per hour DOE, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation and/or mechanical skills highly preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or related setting preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Proficient with PC skills such as keyboarding and Windows Office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain batch plant operations to ensure timely delivery of concrete.
• Verify tickets and enter correct mix design into computer.
• Monitor gauges, dials and operation of machinery to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Coordinate batching and loading of all concrete leaving plant.
• Dispatch trucks based on load size, driver capabilities and jobsite conditions.
• Communicate with dispatch, drivers, operators and customers by radio/phone.
• Take action to avoid hazards and ensure safety.
