Job summary

Custom Building Products, LLC is seeking a Batch Operator for our Logan Township, NJ plant. The role blends products, follows exact formulas, and prepares equipment to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced environment.

It is a 3rd shift position (Sun–Fri, 11:30 PM–8:00 AM) with overtime and a shift premium of $1.50/hr, plus potential pay increases after 90 days based on performance. You will work with Quality Control, Production, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure safety,

Qualifications

• Experience blending chemicals or batching ingredients with attention to sequence and codes.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with operating automated mixing equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely to ensure consistent product quality.
• Weigh and load ingredients into mixers; take samples and coordinate with QC.
• Operate mixing/blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor systems.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and shift handoff documentation.
• Assist with packaging and material handling to support production flow.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
