Job summary

Custom Building Products, LLC is seeking a Batch Operator for our Frankfort, IN plant. You will blend products on the first shift, ensuring timely, accurate mixing and safe operations in a fast-paced facility.

The role offers overtime, a benefits package, and opportunities for advancement within our production team. You will work with Production and Maintenance to meet daily goals, learning formulas, quality control coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior batch or blending experience preferred, but training is available.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and complex instructions.
• Experience operating automated equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely to ensure consistent product quality.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers according to specs; take samples and coordinate with Quality Control.
• Operate mixing and blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor automated systems.
• Maintain accurate production records including batch logs, maintenance reports, calibration records, and shift handoff docs.
• Assist with packaging and material handling to support production flow.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; participate in safety training and address unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
