Job summary

PL Developments is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment in our NY facility. You will ensure batch records and equipment logs are accurate while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic math and record-keeping skills, and the ability to read, write, and speak English. The position offers a Sunday-Thursday night shift with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Record keeping and basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Clear and concise communication, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Reports process or equipment problems to supervisor; performs general troubleshooting.
• Ensures batch records, equipment logbooks, and other relevant records are current; performs batch record reconciliation.
• Sets up and operates equipment for processing operations.
• Cleans and maintains processing rooms and equipment.
• Monitors process and equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications.
• Follows established department SOP’s and batch record instructions; assists in SOP and batch record revisions.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
