Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a MRT Batch Maker to mix solvents and dry chemicals into dispersion batches following batch tickets. You will operate mixing equipment, monitor time, heat, color and other variables, and help with related operations such as blending, filtration, and drying as needed.

No prior experience is required, though manufacturing and filling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Filling area strongly preferred.
• Good math and measurement skills required.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills required.
• Ability to work without continuous supervision.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of ingredients in proper sequence and proportions.
• Tend mixing or compounding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, color, or other variables.
• May perform blending, filtration, drying, grinding or related operations.
• May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications.
• Maintain batch, time weight, color, pressure, heat production and other records.
