Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a MRT Batch Maker to mix solvents and dry chemicals to produce dispersion batches per batch tickets. The role requires good math and measurement skills and basic reading abilities, with no prior experience required though manufacturing experience is preferred.

You will maintain records and may assist in QC checks in a paint manufacturing setting. The position is on site in Hudson, with lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to solvents; a

  • Take products to QA Lab for QC checks and make final adjustments.

JOB DESCRIPTION
RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is looking for MRT Batch Makers.$1,000 Sign-On Bonus!
GENERAL SUMMARY

Mix solvents and dry chemicals in the process of making dispersion batches according to instructions on batch ticket.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned.
  • Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying type of ingredients in proper sequence and proportions
  • Tend mixing or compounding equipment and maintain desired control over time, heat, pressure, color or other variables.
  • May perform blending, filtration, drying, grinding or other related operations.
  • May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications.
  • Maintain batch, time weight, color, pressure, heat production and/or other records as required
  • Take products to QA Lab for QC checks and make final adjustments

Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to determine correct processes regarding standard stain batch making procedures as instructed in initial training
  • The ability to work without continuous supervision while completing assigned projects.
