Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a MRT Batch Maker to mix solvents and dry chemicals to produce dispersion batches per batch tickets. The role requires good math and measurement skills and basic reading abilities, with no prior experience required though manufacturing experience is preferred.

You will maintain records and may assist in QC checks in a paint manufacturing setting. The position is on site in Hudson, with lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to solvents; a

Basic reading and comprehension skills required.
No previous experience required; experience in manufacturing/filling area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying ingredients in proper sequence and proportions.
Tend mixing or compounding equipment and maintain control over time, heat, color and other variables.
May perform blending, filtration, drying, grinding or related operations.
May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications.
Maintain batch, time weight, color, pressure, heat production and/or other records as required.
Take products to QA Lab for QC checks and make final adjustments.
