Job summary

The Boston Red Sox Baseball Technology Team seeks an Affiliate Video & Technology Associate embedded in Player Development to manage video and data collection across the assigned affiliate, operating BATS, Trackman, Hawkeye, Blast, Kinatrax daily, and collaborating with coaches, coordinators, and analytics staff.

This role involves setting up cameras, delivering performance reports, creating scouting materials, and traveling with the team to support game prep across home and away games.

Qualifications

• Experience operating baseball technology is a plus, but not required.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with video editing software is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect game and non-game video by setting up multiple cameras and using BATS video software.
• Organize and distribute game video and performance reports to players and staff.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of advance scouting materials, working closely with the affiliate staff to optimize game preparation.
• Operate and maintain various technologies used at affiliates such as Blast, Rapsodo, Trackman, Hawkeye, Kinatrax, and high frame rate cameras.
• Act as the first point of contact for any issues with data, video, or technology at our affiliates.
• Travel with the team and manage the transportation of necessary technology.
