Job summary

Boston Red Sox are seeking a Player Development Associate to support day-to-day baseball operations at our Fort Myers complex. You will collaborate with coaches, coordinators, and front office to assist with training programs, analytics, and player development initiatives.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies (Blast, Rapsodo, Trackman, Hawkeye, Kinatrax) and hands-on learning within a structured development program, with a February-to-November 2027 timeline and a $15 hourly rate

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Prior baseball experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily logistics and operations for Minor League Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, Florida Complex League, and Off-Season Training.
• Collect, organize, and distribute video in a timely and quality manner.
• Operate and maintain technologies such as Blast, Rapsodo, Trackman, Hawkeye, Kinatrax, and high frame rate cameras.
• Collect, organize and distribute player tracking and performance information to players and staff.
• Collaborate with coaching staff, Player Development, and Baseball Operations to monitor player goals and progress.
• Perform ad hoc research and analysis supporting Player Development initiatives.
• Develop core and domain-specific baseball operations competencies through hands-on experience, tailored education, and mentorship.
