Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Player Development Associate to support baseball operations across spring training and development programs. You will work with front office personnel, coordinators, and coaches, contributing to exposure and skill building through our curriculum and project-based Associate program.
Responsibilities include logistics for training, video distribution, and operating tools like Blast, Trackman, Rapsodo, Hawkeye, and Kinatrax.

The Player Development Associate will be a member of the Player Development team, and is responsible for assisting with baseball operations at our complex in Fort Myers, FL. This individual will collaborate closely with Player Development front office personnel, coordinators, and coaches, as well as take part in our curriculum and project-based Associate development program to enhance exposure and build skills across baseball operations departments.
This position begins in February 2027 and runs through November 2027.
The hourly rate for this position is $15, plus a generous housing stipend.
Assist with day-to-day logistics and operation for Minor League Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, Florida Complex League, and Off-Season Training.
Collect, organize, and distribute video in a timely and quality manner.
Operate and maintain various technologies such as Blast, Rapsodo, Trackman, Hawkeye, Kinatrax, and high frame rate cameras.
Collect, organize and distribute player tracking and performance information to players and staff.
Collaborate with coaching staff, Player Development, and Baseball Operations to monitor player goals and player progress.
Perform ad hoc research and analysis supporting Player Development initiatives, individual player improvement or general Baseball Operations, as requested by staff.
Develop core and domain-specific baseball operations competencies through hands-on experience, tailored education, and mentorship.
