Job summary

i9 Sports is hiring a Fall season T-Ball Instructor to enforce rules, coach on-field, and foster a fun, safe atmosphere for players aged 4-14. This role supports game-day operations and program delivery across scheduled Saturdays.

We seek energetic individuals with coaching or officiating experience, strong communication, and a commitment to weekends for the 7-week season at Eastside Community Fields. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills across email, text, verbal and written channels.
• Experience officiating, playing or coaching youth sports is required.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
• Good situational awareness and attention to detail in fast-paced games.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to commit to weekends for the full 7-week season.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety; stripes and whistle provided by employee.
• Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate plans prepared by i9 Sports.
• Keep time and score during games and manage appropriate levels of instruction and competition.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and provide superior customer service at all times.

Job Summary

The T-Ball Instructor is a critical role on any field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for our Fall season at the following venue:

• Eastside Community Fields (Saturdays): 9/12-10/24

Responsibilities

• Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players. Stripes and whistle provided by employee.


• Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.


• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.


• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (Email, text, verbal, written). Responsiveness is critical.


• Sports officiating, playing or coaching experience is a must.


• Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and trustworthiness.


• Situational awareness, attention to detail and critical thinking.


• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as a team.


• Commit to working weekends for the full duration of the 7-week season.


• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.


• Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. We do not tolerate callouts.
