Job summary

i9 Sports - Puget Sound, WA is seeking an Instructor/Official for youth sports, enforcing rules and coaching on-field to foster safety, learning and fun. The Spring season will operate at Mount Si High School on Sundays. This role directly impacts players, coaches and spectators during games.

Ideal candidates bring officiating or coaching experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to the full 7-week season. Background checks are required and reliable transportation is necessary.

Job Summary

The Instructor/Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for the Spring season at the following location:

Mount Si High School (Sunday mornings/afternoons): 9/13-10/25

Responsibilities

Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players

Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values

Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition

Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (Email, text, verbal, written). Responsiveness is critical.

Sports officiating, playing or coaching experience is a must.

Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and trustworthiness.

Commit to working for the full duration of the 7-week season.
