Job summary

Benedictine University on the Lisle campus seeks a Graduate Assistant for Baseball to assist with recruitment and the student-athlete experience. You will work under the Head Coach to identify qualified student-athletes and help build a competitive program in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.

This role requires enrollment in a Benedictine Graduate program (MBA, MS in Business Analytics, MS in Management & Organizational Behavior, or MPH) and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; must be enrolled as Benedictine student in good standing.
• Coaching or playing experience at collegiate level preferred.
• Must gain acceptance into Benedictine Graduate programs: MBA, MSBA, MS/MO, or MPH.

Responsibilities

• Assist with identification and recruitment of qualified student athletes to help place Benedictine Baseball in competitive leadership in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
• Coach and mentor student-athletes; assist with film breakdown, scouting reports, game and practice plans, and coaching in all segments.
• Assist head coach with retention of student athletes, including social and academic support and monitoring academic progress.
• Provide instruction in technique and safety per NCAA regulations and Sports Performance expectations.
