Job summary

Benedictine University’s Athletics Department seeks an Assistant Coach for Men’s Lacrosse on a seasonal basis at the Lisle campus. You will assist the head coach with game prep, practice planning, recruitment, strength training, and scheduling while ensuring NCAA Division III rules compliance and alignment with the college’s mission.

You will support student-athletes, collaborate with staff, and represent Benedictine University with professionalism during nights and weekend events in a

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate/GED Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• Experience: Previous coaching experience required.
• Skills: Knowledge of NCAA Division III philosophy, recruitment, rules and regulations.
• Licenses: Valid Driver’s License; CPR preferred.
• Physical: Ability to handle stress; travel; long hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game preparation and implement game day strategies.
• Assist with recruiting qualified prospective student-athletes.
• Oversee and supervise strength and conditioning component of athletes' training.
• Develop relationships within Benedictine University and surrounding community.
• Attend departmental and University meetings and events as directed.
