Job summary

Collier County Public Schools is seeking applicants for a Supplemental MS Volleyball AC/GI coaching position. Applicants must have a completed online application and be at least 21 years old, with a High School Diploma or GED. Candidates must hold a current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification; teachers with certification do not need coaching cert. A Basic Life Support certification (First Aid, CPR and AED) is required.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator's Certification
