Collier County Public Schools is seeking MS Volleyball head coach/ booster for a supplemental position. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a High School Diploma or GED. A Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required; current educators with teaching cert do not need a separate coaching cert.

A Basic Life Support certificate (First Aid, CPR, AED) is also required. Reference letter is needed unless you are a CCPS staff member.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates:

• 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.)
• 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification
