Job summary

United Airlines is seeking a Manager of Base Maintenance Materials Coordination in Houston to lead a diverse team responsible for planning and fulfillment of heavy-check materials and urgent requests. You will optimize material delivery processes and drive efficiency across stations.

The role requires strategic leadership, deep knowledge of supply chain operations, and extensive travel to OSV and in-house facilities to ensure timely material delivery and alignment with maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel extensively between Base Maintenance stations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee base maintenance materials coordination team.
• Plan, source, and expedite routine heavy-check materials.
• Monitor metrics and make time-critical operational decisions.
• Lead in-house and OSV coordinators and supplier relationships.
• Travel across Base Maintenance stations for process improvements.
