Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Birmingham, AL, invites you to join our all-day brunch concept and be part of a culture that celebrates brunch life. As a server, you will deliver friendly, responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for every guest.

We value teamwork and a positive attitude; expect to handle money, work with a POS system, and stand for long periods. The role offers days-only scheduling and opportunities to grow with the restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant languages of our Guests.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point of sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours.
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food weighing up to 20 to 25lbs.
• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better.

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant languages of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point of sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
