Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Birmingham, Alabama is hiring servers to provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests.

As a Ruby Krewe member, you’ll embody the brunch life, communicate with guests, and enjoy daytime shifts, medical and dental benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and pay increases.

Qualifications

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
