Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Knoxville, TN is hiring as part-time servers to deliver friendly, attentive brunch service. You will embody the brunch life, ensure a welcoming dining experience, and contribute to a lively guest environment.

Responsibilities include communicating with guests, handling money, and operating the POS system, while standing up to 10 hours and lifting up to 25 lbs. Growth opportunities and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate in the predominant languages of our guests.
• Must have basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a POS system.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver trays up to 20–25 lbs.

Job Summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests Each servers primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant languages of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point of sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
