Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking friendly servers to join our brunch-focused team in the Chattanooga area. Our concept emphasizes fast, warm service and a welcoming atmosphere, with a focus on delivering a memorable dining experience to every guest.

As a Ruby Krewe member, you will communicate effectively with guests, handle dining room procedures, manage basic math and POS transactions, and maintain stamina for long shifts while safely lifting trays up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with guests and understand the predominant language(s).
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash and POS transactions.
• Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift/maneuver trays weighing 20–25 lbs.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for guests.
• Support guests from seating to payment during brunch service.

Job Summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
