The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Mobile, AL is seeking friendly servers to deliver exceptional brunch dining experiences. Our all-day brunch concept emphasizes hospitality, with a focus on quick service and guest satisfaction.

As part of the Ruby Krewe, you will embody the brunch lifestyle, assist with cash handling, and support a lively dining room while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and service functions.
• Able to communicate with guests in multiple languages.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift 20–25 lbs.
• Cash handling and operating a POS system.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, responsive service to guests and embody brunch life.
• Maintain efficient, clean dining area and assist teammates.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.

Job Summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests Each servers primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant languages of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point of sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 10 hours
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
