Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Bartender to create a welcoming bar atmosphere while serving drinks and food. You will mix drinks, interact with guests, and handle food orders with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing side work, garnishing, and processing payments. This role requires standing throughout shifts and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for others and learn.
• Positive attitude and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and bar equipment.
• Must be able to stand for the entire shift.
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to transport items up to 25 pounds up to 15 times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (30%).
• Interact verbally with bar guests to create a friendly atmosphere (20%).
• Serve food and drinks to bar guests (15%).
• Complete opening and closing side work (15%).
• Slice fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks (5%).
• Present guest checks and handle transactions (5%).
• Relay food orders to the kitchen via the POS system (5%).
• Process employee and/or manager food orders (5%).
