Job summary

Wyndham Bloomington MOA Hotel is seeking bartenders who enjoy being part of a team, are hard-working, have a positive can-do attitude and strive to deliver exceptional customer service. Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays.

To deliver a great guest experience while preparing beverages in a timely manner; greet guests, prepare drinks per standard recipes, monitor service, maintain bar setup, and follow safety procedures throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English to communicate with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar and promote house drinks.
• Prepare beverages using standard recipes to provide a consistent product.
• Monitor alcohol service and identify when to stop service; check IDs as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and report incidents promptly to supervision.
• Set up bar with liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies.
• Perform daily tasks per the bar checklist and keep liquor secured.
