Job summary

Weekender Hotels is seeking a Bartender I to provide friendly, efficient service at the bar, mixing and serving standard drinks and maintaining a clean, stocked area. You will process payments, assist servers, and ensure responsible service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires knowledge of cocktails, strong communication, and the ability to multitask while upholding safety and guest satisfaction standards. This is a full-time, on-site position in a dynamic startup-like hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with management, servers, team members and guests.
• Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishes.
• Ability to visually scan restaurants for cleanliness.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Accurate cash handling and ability to calculate tips.
• Working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve standard cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide attentive service.
• Verify guest identification and enforce alcohol service laws.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and restock supplies as directed.
• Handle payments and operate POS system accurately.
• Support servers and teammates during busy shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
