Duties
As Pool Bartender you will be responsible for crafting classic and creative alcohol and non‑alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a working knowledge of the full food and drink menu while making recommendations.
- Create a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages with precision and flair, using high-quality ingredients, techniques, and garnishes.
- Continuously innovate and introduce new and exciting drink creations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversation, and understanding their preferences.
- Offer recommendations and suggestions based on guests’ tastes, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.
- Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with attention to detail and presentation.
- Ensure all orders are prepared in compliance with company standards and specific customer requests.
- Demonstrate an extensive understanding of classic and contemporary mixology, including various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and new techniques within the industry.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including adhering to work schedules, dress code, and attendance guidelines.
- Perform opening side work and set up station.
- Attend and participate in any training sessions and department meetings.
- Properly execute closing procedures.
- Follow high standards of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures.
- Provide guests with prompt check and return receipts promptly.
- Keep all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials.
- Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by federal and state guidelines.
- Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol.
- Perform other related activities as assigned by management.
- Guarantee neat and quality service.
- Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures.
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Qualifications & Skills
- Prior bartending experience.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
- Organized and proficient at multitasking.
- Reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- Food handling certification (can be obtained during employment).
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24‑hour operation, including holidays and weekends.
