HMSHost is hiring a Bartender B in Atlanta, GA. You will greet customers, take orders, mix cocktails and beverages, and serve beer and other drinks while ensuring accurate transactions and timely service.

The role requires familiarity with beer, wine, and spirits and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You will maintain a clean, well-stocked bar and follow HMSHost policies on alcohol handling and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• At least 1 year of bartending experience; high-volume or fast casual preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and how to prepare and present them.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Ability to read, understand instructions, and converse with customers.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Hands often come into contact with water and cleaning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food and beverage orders; upsell where possible.
• Follow recipes and directions to mix beverages.
• Collect payments and operate cash registers; secure money at end of shift.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication.
• Adhere to HMSHost customer service, alcohol, and cash handling policies.
• Keep bar clean, sanitized and well stocked.
