Job summary

R365hire in Boston is seeking a personable bartender to deliver timely, accurate service and craft beverages for guests. You will take orders, prepare drinks per standard recipes, manage payments, and keep the bar clean while representing the restaurant professionally.

Ideal candidates are at least 21, have completed our bar training, and possess knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails. Food Handlers and RBS training are preferred for success on fast-paced shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Excellent guest communication and service.
• Completion of company bar training program.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and cocktails.
• Food Handlers Certificate.
• RBS Training.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
• Record drink orders accurately into the POS system.
• Accept guest payments and process credit card charges.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitize glassware.
• Prepare garnishes and replenish bar items as needed.
• Ensure inventory items are stocked and inform management of shortages.
• Assist with serving food orders to bar guests.
• Report equipment or maintenance issues to the manager.
• Be flexible to cover shifts as directed by management.
