General Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced Bartender for Holiday Inn Hopkinsville. You will take orders, craft drinks, and serve guests at the bar, delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, cash handling, and knowledge of food safety. Flexible AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays are required, and you must be of legal drinking age with a valid state permit.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a bartender with drink prep knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional.
• Must be of legal drinking age and have a valid state permit.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about drinks and menu items.
• Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensure garnishes are prepared ahead of opening.
• Maintain the bar and keep it clean and organized.
• Keep bar supplied with snacks.
• Ensure customers are of legal drinking age by checking IDs.
• Check in with customers to address any concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments and handle cash and card transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely and accurate orders.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
