Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington is seeking an energetic bartender to join our team. You will prepare and serve beverages and light meals, maintain a clean bar, verify guest IDs, and handle payments with accuracy. This role supports guest satisfaction and adheres to safety standards.

Qualifications include prior bartending experience, a high school diploma, and TIPS certification if possible. Food sanitation certification within 90 days is required or encouraged.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certification a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take orders and serve/clear food and beverages to guests at tables in bar/lounge areas.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve it.
• Assist with beverage inventory.
