Troon is seeking a Bartender at Tuckers Cove Town Center in Punta Gorda, FL. The role involves crafting drinks, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with liquor laws in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour. Candidates must be 21+, have a GED or high school diploma, and possess knowledge of cocktails and POS systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages, assist in inventory and records.
• Maintain inventory control and communicate needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicate guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Open/close duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, restocking.
• Manage checks and cash transactions using POS system.
• Review banquet schedules and events.
• Serve catered parties and occasionally meals to guests.
• Maintain safety practices in performance of duties.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour, Part-time and Full-time positions available.

Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Bartender:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
• Knowledge of POS system.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
