Job summary

Bonita National Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL, is hiring a full-time Bartender for a seasonal 6-month position. Compensation is $10.50 per hour. You will stock the bar, mix drinks, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with state liquor laws.

Duties include handling cash, operating the POS, and supporting events. Minimum qualifications: 21+ to serve alcohol, knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties, and a GED with 1 year of bartending experience or training.

Bonita National Golf & Country Club, located in Bonita Springs, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$10.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Stocks the bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Maintains accountability for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes the Point of Sale system.
• Reviews the banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Knowledge/Skill:

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Alcohol Awareness Training.
