Job summary

Hidden Valley Orchards seeks dynamic Bartenders to craft drinks and deliver outstanding service at the Crate Room and during on-site private events. The farm operates a gratuity-free service model, paying an hourly wage with no tipping, fostering equitable compensation across the team.

Responsibilities include bar operations, guest engagement, and knowledge sharing about drinks and orchard products. Seasonal position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of cider, beer, drinks and bartending techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Must be of legal drinking age; certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Hidden Valley Orchards is looking for dynamic Bartenders to join our team and elevate the guest experience at our farm. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks and providing outstanding service to our visitors. Your creativity and passion for hospitality will help you delight guests at the Crate Room and enhance private events on site.

Hidden Valley Orchards operates under a Gratuity-Free Service Model for our bar program.

This means our bartenders are paid a competitive hourly wage and do not rely on traditional tipping. Guests are not expected to tip, allowing our team to focus fully on hospitality, product knowledge, and delivering a consistent, elevated experience. This model supports equitable compensation across our farm team and ensures a collaborative culture.

• This position offers a starting wage range of $15.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, product knowledge, and demonstrated hospitality or leadership skills.
• Team members may be eligible for pay increases as they expand their skill sets, demonstrate exceptional guest service, take on additional responsibilities, and show strong leadership and reliability.

• Additionally, team members who work during our peak season (September 15 – October 31) may have access to performance-based bonus opportunities.
