Job summary

Hidden Valley Orchards seeks dynamic Bartenders to craft drinks and deliver outstanding service at the Crate Room and during on-site private events. The farm operates a gratuity-free service model, paying an hourly wage with no tipping, fostering equitable compensation across the team.

Responsibilities include bar operations, guest engagement, and knowledge sharing about drinks and orchard products. Seasonal position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of cider, beer, drinks and bartending techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Must be of legal drinking age; certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, wines and beers.
• Engage guests with friendly, informative service and product knowledge.
• Read guests’ limitations.
• Assist in serving complete orders including food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and welcoming environment.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Adhere to safety and hygiene standards and local regulations.
