Job summary

Medley at Angeline Club, part of Troon, located in Land O' Lakes, FL, is seeking a full-time Bartender to stock, mix and serve beverages in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 21 years old, 1 year of bartending experience, knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties, and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves beverages, assists in cost control and inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Uses POS for transactions and reviews banquet schedules.
• Serves catered events and occasionally meals to guests.

Medley at Angeline Club, located in Land O' Lakes, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation

$12.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
