Job summary

Lakewood National Golf Club in Bradenton, FL, managed by Troon, is hiring a full-time tiki bar bartender. You will learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality setting, handling bar service and guest experience.

The position offers $12.00 per hour plus tips, with benefits and opportunities at a global golf and hospitality leader. You will ensure compliance with state laws, manage inventory, and provide welcoming service to guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to meet state requirements to serve alcohol.
• Bartending experience required.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training required.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control.
• Maintains inventory and notifies management when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Handles guest requests and communicates with the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including cash handling and cleaning.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay

$12.00 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes, and serves alcoholic beverages; assists in cost control, inventory, and maintaining inventory records
• Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
• Performs opening and closing duties that include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilizes Point of Sale System
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars
• Occasionally serves meals to guests
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol

• Must have bartending experience

Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties

Alcohol Awareness Training required
