Job summary

Oakmontflagstaff seeks an experienced bartender to create a welcoming bar experience, craft high-quality beverages, and support the service team. You will interact with guests, balance efficiency with engagement, and help maintain a smooth flow between front and back of house.

The role requires reliability, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality, with opportunities for growth. Applicants must be at least 21, have valid certifications, and be able to stand and lift for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of bartending experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Must maintain valid Food Handler’s certification and Title 4 Basic certification.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service, including ID verification and over-service prevention.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all beverage offerings, including cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, and non-alcoholic options.
• Provide attentive, friendly service to bar guests while supporting servers with beverage production.
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with state and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including service wells, refrigeration, and glassware.
• Monitor and restock inventory, including garnishes, mixers, and bar supplies.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures and support overall restaurant operations as needed.

The Position Specifics

As a Bartender, you are responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging bar experience while preparing high‑quality beverages for both bar guests and the service team.

This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to balance guest interaction with timely, accurate drink execution.
