Madden’s is an award‑winning resort located on more than 1,000 acres that offers golf, upscale dining, lakeside spa, tennis, children's activity programs, biking, shopping, and art gallery with painting classes. With a focus on gracious hospitality, quality, and diversity, Madden’s seeks Bartenders for the 2026 season.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and break down banquet bar stations according to event specifications.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
  • Follow all recipes, portion controls, and service standards.
  • Verify guest age and comply with all alcohol service laws.
  • Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
  • Perform opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control and cleaning.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked bar throughout events.
  • Be accountable for checks and cash transactions, drink tickets, and POS systems as required.
  • Utilize Point of Sales System.
  • Review banquet or dining room schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
  • Assist with inventory counts and restocking after events.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Maintain reliable attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Work is performed in multiple dining outlets.

Physical Demands

Primarily standing for prolonged periods of time; must be able to stand, walk, talk/hear in person and by telephone, occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds, sometimes repeatedly.

Expected Hours of Work

Flexible schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays.

Travel

Less than 10% travel required.
